The Wagon Wheel Hotel is located in the center of Eldoret and is easily reachable. It’s a very affordable hotel, clean, and the rooms are in order, even featuring a mosquito net. The staff are very friendly and can accommodate requests. The breakfast is very poor; fortunately there are a few fruit varieties (pineapple, watermelon, papaya), wheat bits, and milk so you can make a cereal. The internet is free but unusable.

The hotel's room and linens were spotless, and the location was super convenient – it was close to everything I needed. However, the instant heater shower was a major letdown. It was either scalding hot or completely faulty, making it impossible to use. For a hotel that otherwise had a lot going for it, this was a pretty big oversight.
