“Pire hôtel de notre séjour de 3 semaines en Namibie”
Being under an hour’s drive from Etosha was the only positive thing we could say about this hotel, which is a shame because it has potential. Traveling with two big kids we booked two luxury family rooms—each 60 m² with a sofa and bathtub—to rest halfway through our three‑week road‑trip before entering Etosha, but we were given much smaller rooms lacking a sofa or bathtub. At reception we were told the rooms we booked were already occupied, with no compensation or apology. We then had to go back twice because there were no towels or shower supplies in our rooms; the receptionist didn’t believe us until she checked herself. Our rooms were in a construction zone, filthy with trash everywhere, and the bins weren’t emptied. The pool was unusable, dirty, and you couldn’t see the bottom. Breakfast was okay, but dinner was the worst meal of our three‑week Namibia stay—none of the four meat dishes were cooked properly, one even went back to the kitchen, and the rest wasn’t kept hot.
