A Casa do Comandante - Piscina e Jardim

Pros: the place was very spacious, the host was communicative and nice, the pool was great, the kitchen was huge with plenty of storage. The bed was firm but still comfortable, it was clean and parking was available. Cons: parking was inconvenient when the house was full of other guests, which it was during our stay. There were tons of ants in the room (common in the Azores but worse than our other stay). No AC or fan made it quite hot if it wasn’t windy. I don’t regret the stay, but if I come back I’ll probably look elsewhere.

Everything was perfect, and I couldn't find anything that didn't satisfy me.

“Muy cómodo”

The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, the facilities were very clean, and we were a small group so we almost always had everything to ourselves. The parking was a bit scarce, and we had to park every day on the sidewalk in front of the neighboring house.

“Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ,île et logement très dépaysants,”

Everything was there for a great stay, not too far from everything, a friendly and attentive welcome if needed. It was just a bit noisy at night from the nearby highway and the dogs barking when the windows were open for heat, and the bedding felt a bit firm; maybe add fans or air‑conditioners in those rooms.

A nice garden with a pool, a well‑maintained outdoor area where you can relax. With a car everything is easily reachable. You can wash your clothes for free and detergent is also available. The shared towels and trash cans should be changed or emptied daily. The appliances (the dishwasher was not working during our stay) and the fridge should be replaced. We had actually booked a private bathroom, but we were mistakenly shown Casa do Comandante. We would have liked a private bathroom.
