The balcony view was gorgeous and the creek’s sound was so calming. But room 302 feels haunted—my daughter’s friend swore her phone flew across the bathroom, and she saw a shadowy figure soon after.

We missed breakfast even though we headed there, but it was good. Watching bears roam the creek below us was a highlight, and the mountain view from our room in Gatlinburg was stunning.

I’ve stayed here before; the place is clean and the staff are great. Breakfast is pretty good, too, and I’d come back. Parking is limited during peak hours and it’s hard to get carts.

Sitting on the deck and watching the creek is a treat, and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of room compared to other hotels. In winter, the room’s fireplace adds a nice touch. Breakfast was nice, but there wasn’t enough seating. The breakfast area feels too small, and the office check‑in area is too dark—people behind the desk are hard to see and it needs updating.
