The spot was spot on and the team was spot on. The rooms were a tad cramped and if you’re lugging too much, you’ll find it tight.
“Ottima posizione”
The hotel sits in Osaka’s liveliest area, is welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are tiny and dim, so it’s not suitable for stays longer than a night.
The hotel sits right in Dotonbori, smack‑dab in the middle of the metro network and surrounded by endless eateries. I booked for eight people—one double and two triple rooms—but when we arrived the triples each only had a single small double bed. After a long back‑and‑forth with reception, they finally offered us a nearby hotel with a vacant room, but only if we paid extra. I showed them the reservation and argued that they were breaching the contract since I had paid for three‑person rooms. There were no towels, pajamas, or slippers for the third guest, and no provision for three occupants at all. The staff didn’t speak any English, so after much negotiation between the front desk and the manager, they eventually gave us a place to sleep. The rooms were tiny—barely enough to open two cabin suitcases. I’ve filed a complaint because the hotel didn’t deliver what was promised, and I reminded them that if they list rooms for three, they must provide beds for three. A child of eleven counts as a full guest, not a baby you can tuck in with parents. Our experience was very poor and it took a lot of effort to get the issue sorted.
The room was very pleasant.
“I enjoyed my stay and would stay again”
Everything was close by. The rooms are small but spotless.
