The one‑night stay was decent: the beds were comfy, the air‑con worked well and the shower was hot. The family meal was good, and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. However, the property looks old and run down, almost like an abandoned place when we arrived. The food and drinks are a bit pricey, and overall it feels a bit expensive for what it offers.

The location is stunning, the owners are lovely, the bungalow is very comfortable, and the value is great. We even got a surprise bonus with the paid tea island tour.

The food was the only bright spot. Bugs were everywhere, the air was hot and muggy, and the owners overcharged us 3.5 times the cost of our stay. Skip the boat ride. The shower had no water pressure and wasn’t hot.

The staff were friendly, dinner on site was very tasty, and the location in the tea fields is cool. You can stock up on good tea cheaply, giving a solid price‑performance ratio. Some furniture issues: loose floorboards, a leaking bathroom siphon, no remote for the AC, early renovation work, and the path to the property isn’t paved.

The spot is lovely, set in a tea plantation by a lake, and offers great value. Dinner and breakfast were good.
