The staff were genuinely nice and the grounds were lush—toucans and plenty of birds. The location was good too. The hotel itself was worn out and poorly maintained; for example, the balcony doors in our room wouldn’t close properly, letting mosquitoes in, and there were no power outlets for charging phones—definitely needs some TLC.
