The hotel looked just like the pictures, and the staff—especially the woman who is usually there—was the most professional and friendly. The pool is bigger than it seems. However, we were almost charged a 3 % extra for using a card, even though the reservation didn’t mention it. On the fourth payment attempt, the 3 % was removed, only to receive a message that our reservation had been altered, dropping two days we had already paid for, clearly to squeeze out more money without notifying the booking platform. Additionally, the room needs maintenance because some items are breaking or wearing out.

The location, the pool, the décor, and the view were all great. It could be cleaner and would benefit from a refresh in some areas (walls).

The pool was very nice, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good, though the portions could have been larger (my favorite was the omelette and the plate of fruit!). Ten minutes to Ubud centre, and it was very quiet and peaceful.
The room was spacious, but it wasn’t clean; spider webs and some grime were visible. The soundproofing was awful, letting you hear the crows at night and the nearby ducks in the morning.
The room was large, roomy, and well equipped, with good air conditioning and a fan. Breakfast was delivered to the room; it had to be selected the night before and was limited to a cup of coffee, a glass of juice, and a plate (either various egg preparations or an Asian breakfast). The location is quite far from Ubud; the nearest restaurants are about a 10‑minute walk away.
