“You need a whole new staff!!”
The staff were extremely rude. My sister and I returned from shopping when a child ran past our room; I stepped out the side door to get a description, and my sister went out to see if I had any information. The child jumped into a white car with heavily tinted windows. I tried to capture the license plate unnoticed, but an aggressive, ignorant older punk leapt out of my car to confront me, saying, “NIGGA WHY YOU TAKE A PICTURE of my license plate number now I’m gonna be in trouble YOU MISERABLE OLD BITCH! I worked as a correction officer a very long time and Hostage negotiator! I have high security clearance! I dealt with these punks for 10 years and I don’t tolerate disrespect I’m 61 years old.” He didn’t know my training. I told him not nicely, “CAN'T YOU SEE I'M WHITE NIGGA!!” He claimed he was shady, and I said I was all about law enforcement because he spat at me. I let him know that was felonious assault. He got in his car and left. I was shaken, and my sister didn’t even know what was happening. I told the front desk (a white middle‑aged woman) who was nasty every time I asked a question. I am a very nice person and a strong believer in God, believe it or not, I was always kind and respectful to her, yet she was short and rude. When I went to the front desk to tell her she said there’s nothing we could do and you should never run after someone, and that you should come to the front desk. I asked why I would come to the front desk if there’s nothing you can do. I asked them to cancel my future reservation; I checked and it wasn’t done, so I did it myself.
