The pool is lovely and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and there are great à‑la‑cuisine options.

It’s in a quiet area yet close to restaurants, markets, and the city center. The hotel works with hospitality students, which is good for the community, and the breakfast is pretty good. However, the price is high for the standard in Cambodia. The bed has springs, the walls are thin, and the facilities need maintenance.

The location and the staff are friendly, and the value for money is solid. The bathroom is small and the room lighting is dim.

I spent ten days using this hotel as my base in Siem Reap, and it worked out great. The spot is close to everything you’d want and the neighborhood is easy to stroll around. The real star is the staff – they’re attentive, welcoming, and chatty without ever feeling forced or fake, genuinely caring about every guest’s experience. I liked the old‑world charm of the building; my room was spacious, beautiful, and had everything I needed, from a place to hang clothes to a kettle, fridge, and daily‑refilled complimentary water. The desk was handy for laptop work and the Wi‑Fi was solid for video meetings. Cleanliness was consistent, even in the pool and lounge area outside. Breakfast offered great value, a relaxed vibe, and varied components each day. The only tweak I’d suggest is a softer pillow; but having been around Southeast Asia, you know that’s just how it is sometimes.
