There were no bed bugs, but the old house lacks basics; my partner didn’t feel particularly safe, although nothing happened, and the staff asked us if we were 2 friends or a couple (on message, but for no relevant reason).

The spot was perfect—shops, Woolworths, restaurants, bars, and public transport all within a short walk. The room was clean enough, though it carried a slight mustiness. The bed was comfy, the kitchen fully stocked, and the communal lounge was handy. I forgot to set my alarm, so I checked out late, but the owners were understanding and didn’t charge extra. I felt safe thanks to the CCTV. The only downside was the musty odor that probably needed airing out.

The place was only worth it for its location. The shower was unreliable, Wi‑Fi lagged like 3G, and the biggest hazard was black fungus (mould) piling up in several spots. If you don’t care about your health, you might consider booking this so‑called bungalow.

I really enjoyed the sleepout we had. Nothing else went wrong; I just wanted to apologize to the staff who were a bit behind.
