“Descaso”

The location was fine. We sent a message before arriving and got no reply. We waited outside the gate for almost 20 minutes until someone answered and told us how to enter. When we got in, the bathroom in the room had no light and was extremely dirty. The curtain, I think, had never been washed and there was sand on the floor.

I only liked the door keychain 🚪, but the parking was a mess—no one was at the front desk, so I had to shout at the door and bang the bell, but nobody answered. I only managed to get in after pulling the circuit breaker, and then I found all the room keys on the light switch board—every single key was there. No one contacted me about the room, so I grabbed the keys, checked all the rooms, and chose the least bad one, which still had fleas on the bed. There was only one camera, and it was in the reception, so the owner finally got in touch.

I never managed to settle in because no one answered at all, no room number or keys were given, so I waited at the door for an hour before leaving and scrambling to book another place—an utter lack of respect for guests!

There was nobody at the front desk. If you don’t beg for help you’ll be left on the street with your bags, and that’s exactly what happened to me; I never even stayed, lost my money, and had to pay elsewhere.

The person in charge of the rental vanished! I tried calling, texting on WhatsApp, and even used the booking site, all to no avail. I had to find another rental, and one resident said she always does this—closes the booking and disappears. I requested a cancellation and refund, but I still haven’t heard back.
