Even though there was no reception desk, we didn’t miss it. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly via email. The hotel was very clean and the spacious room could accommodate three people. The bed was wonderful, but the sofa bed was a bit too hard. The hotel is located above the restaurant, with friendly staff and good food. We were heading to Amsterdam the next day, so it was a perfect base.

I really liked the location and the beautiful bedrooms. The key situation was difficult and annoying: I didn’t receive my “key” by email for some reason, and each time I returned the digital entry system didn’t work, so I eventually got a normal key from downstairs.

A nice spot, just minutes to the train station with frequent connections to Amsterdam on a short train ride! No lift, steep stairs, and access through a ground‑floor shop that isn’t staffed by hotel personnel and therefore not helpful. We had to carry our luggage through the shop and up the stairs, even though there is a door to the street where you can park… but it was prohibited during the day! The hotel is unsuitable for older people and/or disabled guests. The room cleaning didn’t happen at first.

The online check‑in and email communication were very good. The room was bright, spacious, the beds comfortable, and the coffee machine was a nice plus. The shower was also very good. Everything was ideal for a short stay, and breakfast could be had in the restaurant below. We were very satisfied. It’s a bit unusual without staff or a hotel desk, but it apparently works. The checkout email was completely empty.
