Blanko was an amazing host; he took care of every little detail and even squeezed in three beds for us, which were surprisingly comfy. The spot is perfect – just a short walk to St James Church and Apparition Hill, ideal for German, English or Polish pilgrims. We got a warm welcome at 1 am after a long drive from Bavaria, and on the last night he treated us to tiramisu while everyone chatted, sang, and even played piano. All in all, five‑star hospitality.

A solid spot on the road to the Blue Cross, right next to an Italian pastry shop and a pizzeria. Everything you need is there, and you can even make a coffee yourself if you want. Good enough for a quick stop.

The place was quiet and the rooms were spotless, which I really appreciated. It would have been nicer to have a dishwasher in the kitchen, and if you’re planning to cook for kids you’ll need to bring your own pots. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

The host and his family were wonderful – Branko is genuinely the kindest guy you’ll meet. The rooms were clean, the location close to Apparition Hill was handy, and everything felt well‑kept.
