The animals were near the door. The food came from the beer garden. Next to it is the direct Isarradweg. The bathroom was very old; the shower and toilet area had a bit of mold – the bed and dishes were dirty – the rolls were old and hard (but they were also in the old building).

The location, parking, proximity to the bike route, and staff were perfect for our trips. It was close to Munich. Everything was fine.

The inn feels like a genuine country tavern, which I appreciated. The staff are friendly and customer‑focused. The rooms are functional and perfectly fine. The kitchen serves “Bayerisch” food that’s good and typical. The garden tavern is cozy. The indoor breakfast area was a bit cramped, but still acceptable. As a Munich‑Venice trekker, I found it a great hostel.
