The stay was decent for a few nights; the room was spacious and filled with sunlight, but the thin walls let in a lot of noise from the bar, and when kids played in the room above, the ceiling shook. It would have been nice to have sunbeds by the pool instead of just chairs.

We had a fantastic time at Mammoth Boutique Hotel: the room was clean, comfortable, and roomy, with a big bed that was perfect for our family. The staff were friendly, the location convenient, and the value for money was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect, right in the canals of the old town. The rooms are spacious and have good air conditioning, and the price is also great. However, there aren't many extra facilities—no airport shuttle, no breakfast, no restaurant. The adjacent restaurant/bar is quite loud, especially on weekends until 0:00. If you can live with that, this is a solid base for Chiang Mai.

The bar next door, often mentioned, can get a bit loud in the evenings, but during our four‑day stay it didn't disturb us much. We had a very nice bright room on the first floor. Sharing the pool with the bar next door is suboptimal, and the water was relatively salty, which isn't everyone’s taste. Our second room was on the ground floor and had only two windows at the end, letting in little light—overall it felt a bit like a basement.
