Totobe Resort

If paradise had a name, it would be Totobe. 🌴💚 What an amazing spot… one of those that you fall in love with instantly and never want to leave. We felt at home, surrounded by spectacular nature, an indescribable peace, and an atmosphere that made everything special. We’re leaving with full hearts, precious memories, and the feeling of having found a little paradise in Costa Rica. I wish we could stay a bit longer… 🥹❤️ Thanks for everything! Undoubtedly one of those places we dream of returning to.

“Buena experiencia”

The vibe was very calm. It would be nice if guests were told that on certain nights there are people watching turtles near the beach.

“Super tolle Unterkunft direkt am Meer”

I was initially doubtful because the bathroom was shared with other guests, but everything was spotless and the location was spot‑on—definitely the best place we stayed during our four‑week trip! The breakfast was great, and we even had our laundry done.

“Lieu exceptionnel loin de la civilisation, un vrai petit paradis!”

The place was exceptional right on the ocean, surrounded by coconut trees, with a shared kitchen area and a pool. The staff welcomed us warmly and even served us coconut slices. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, but the fans worked well enough.

“Notre endroit préféré du Costa Rica!”

We loved staying at Totobe for the second time, bringing our three kids (ages 2, 4, and 6). It’s perfect for families and tucked away on a nearly deserted beach, so the peace was absolute. The rooms were comfortable, and ours faced the sea. The staff were wonderful. We ordered all our meals for the duration of the stay and were not disappointed—traditional dishes were delicious and generous! The only drawback was that it could get hot in the rooms without air conditioning; we were there in July.
