“The staff that attended to us during our stay was top notch”

The view of the mountains was lovely, but my room was blocked by the huge hall and kitchen.

Being close to the park made it the best option when park accommodation is non‑existent; the room was clean, cozy, and very small, food was excellent, staff were most friendly, and an excellent guide was available to show us around the park. The rooms are small and lack facilities, though the bed itself is good; the lodge’s communal areas are still in the making, so it’s basically just a big shed at the moment and lacks character, and the dining facilities are very rustic.

I loved the beautiful mountains, but the place was not what I expected, especially given the amount charged per night. I booked for 3 nights but had to leave the very next day. There was no hot water to bathe with in the morning. I booked a family room with a view, but we were given two separate rooms because there was no fireplace. I had to bathe by 8 pm and order supper at 5 pm. There was no self‑catering equipment in the room; you have to walk to a locked kitchen to make a cup of tea with your own stuff. I asked for a refund but never got a response from the owner yet.

“Most Enjoyable and Comfortable.”

I loved everything about the place and the facilities; just be patient with the hot water in the winter season. Otherwise everything was superb. It’s also a good idea to call ahead for the advisable route to take because we got lost. We will certainly come back again. Waiting for the hot water.

“Great stay if you want to visit the Sehlabathebe National Park”

The property is very well located if you want to visit Sehlabathebe National Park; the staff are very friendly and helpful. The lodge is still being built, so some areas feel like a construction site. However, it has a lot of potential and I would go back in a few months.
