The accommodation was exceptional on an amazing island! I had to stay a few days, but I kept extending my stay and ended up staying more than a month. The staff is adorable, the location is perfect just steps from the beach and close to excellent restaurants. The large dormitory is especially comfortable and very clean. There’s no air‑conditioning (very few on the island compared to the mainland), but a personal fan works well. The sanitary corner is perfect—you shower under the stars, and sometimes a frog will visit you, or a little Malay monitor lizard might poke its nose out, but it’s usually more afraid of you. Everything in this paradisiacal place invites you to stay with your feet in the sand: the delicious on‑site restaurant at attractive prices, hammocks everywhere, and a family‑friendly, cheerful vibe from the staff. It’s a perfect spot to socialize or keep to yourself. I recommend staying a few days—you’ll find it hard to leave. Thanks to the whole team for the amazing work they do every day to keep this place welcoming!

I’ve never stayed in a hostel before, but the private tents were the coolest thing in my 60s, and the food, location, hospitality and vibe were all awesome. I’ll definitely come back next year and stay there again.

The tent was really nice and the staff were very helpful; I got stung by a jellyfish and they supplied a lot of vinegar and called a doctor—thank you!

This place blends the island’s magic with backpacker spirit, dorm quality, prices, and the flexibility you need in a spot like this; Ing, Om and Jane have cracked the code on running a paradise hostel. They care for guests while staying strict and professional, creating an atmosphere that makes people want to hang out and return—literally what people do. The hostel is beautifully located 5 min walk from Long Beach, the dorms are spacious, the shower and bathroom area is large and clean, and there are great chill and hangout spots. I couldn’t recommend this place more! One thing: don’t tumble dry the towels—they don’t soak up any water.
