I loved the heritage touches—an impressive tribute to the past blended with modern luxury. After a hot day exploring the town, the pool was a blissful retreat. Nothing else to add.

The place has so much character and history. Be sure to flip through the historic photo book at reception, and check the wall picture of a very special British guest who visited. It felt so private that we didn't see another guest in three days! The furniture and ornaments in each room are exquisite, the pool area welcoming, and the bar and restaurant again full of character. No negatives.

The building is amazing, the location is very good, and the staff are extraordinary. Be sure to check out the swimming pool area—it’s truly special! There’s nothing else to mention.

The room and furnishings were very elegant, though it was a bit odd not to have any view at all; the communal space by the pool was lovely and enjoyable. The staff were fantastic, and a special shout‑out to Joyce, who was a joy to deal with, and Jenny, who was delightful—both women were helpful, graceful, and charming. We didn’t find anything we didn’t like. Our arrival was a little confusing because the rideshare driver took us to the address, but the reception was on the other side of the building, so perhaps the signage could be clearer for future guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seven Terraces, a beautiful spot in George Town. The place has an amazing charm, with its traditional architecture, stunning spaces, and refined décor that instantly pulls you into Penang’s history and culture. The hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring George Town, yet it offers a true haven of peace once you step inside. We especially loved the intimate and elegant atmosphere and the quality of the welcome. The pool, tucked in the heart of the property, is also very pleasant after a day of city exploration. We were a bit mixed about the massage service.
