I ended up staying in the hut because the trailers had a problem, and the hut was right next door; everything else was spot‑on, the hosts were quick to respond, the accommodation was nice, and they were super flexible about check‑out, so I'd give it a 10/10. The only downside was the sheer number of mosquitoes—bring repellent.

Casa Luna has a lot of potential; it's a new camper and it's within walking distance of everything, but the property itself needs a lot of work. I stayed there for three nights and each night I ran into major issues: the electricity was almost nonexistent, the shower water barely came out and never got hot, and on one night the sewage backed up into the shower—clearly it hadn't been drained in ages. When I mentioned these problems to Lalo, the on‑site person, he was attentive and tried his best to help, yet the problems continued. The owner, Lic Elba, has been very difficult to deal with about reimbursement; her communication is lackluster and she made me jump through too many hoops to get a refund.

The service was very good, but I didn't receive what I had rented.

They were super helpful with arrival info and flexible about check‑in and check‑out, which we appreciated. We only needed to crash there for one night, and it did the job, but I was surprised that the trailer wasn't connected. We only had one extension cord to plug in the fan and our phones, and that was it. The biggest frustration was that the fridge didn't work, so we couldn't preserve our dinner food or keep our road snacks cool. The fan was enough to keep the two of us cool even in July, it cools enough at night, but I can't imagine being in there during the day.
