The spot is unbeatable, the sea and the rest, the breeze in the evenings with the sunset; it’s for people who love the sea and sun, the staff are very attentive and the food is excellent – it’s my third stay and I’ll keep recommending it; everything I liked.

The place is very pretty, literally two steps from the sea; the staff are very attentive, they organized the excursions and transfers we wanted; they give towels for the bathroom and others for the sea, which is handy for those who travel light; perfect for swimming and paddleboarding in the morning; breakfast is very tasty. Because it’s such a beautiful and quiet spot, there are neighbors with loud music all day; the neighbor behind our room turned the radio up to full volume at 7am; I’d suggest talking to the neighbors so they can cooperate with the quiet of the place, because it’s ideal for resting under a tree watching the sea.

We were disappointed to stay here. Angel and Monica are very friendly and helpful and the food was simple and tasty, but apart from that, the stay left a lot to be desired. No wifi in our room and the generator for the electricity ran incredibly loudly all night. There are not enough sun beds in the shade for all guests, they are grotty and broken, and unlike the photos there are no umbrellas. The garden and property could do with a lot of work to bring in line with alternatives on the island. The room was very basic and towels were not changed during our stay

If you’re looking for a place that feels completely cut off from the world, peaceful, with a splendid view, where you can finally take the time to read that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages, and with discreet but absolutely lovely staff, this is the place. You mainly come here to relax on a sun lounger overlooking the sea. A paddleboard is available, and you can book boat trips or scuba-diving excursions right next door. There is no air conditioning, but there is a welcome fan. This also means that the birds can come and perch nearby, while you watch the crabs and pelicans. The island moves at its own peaceful pace, far from the tourist hotels of Isla Grande. I highly recommend bringing closed-toe water shoes! The coral is not far away

“Tre giorni di descanso total”

The eco‑hotel sits on a secondary island west of Grande and offers a semi‑deserted island experience, especially in August. The owners are friendly and the food prepared on site is very tasty. Two beaches are within walking distance – one under five minutes away and the other right in front of the property. A small shop 200 m away sells basic supplies, and a palm‑lined village with a bar is nearby. With no motorised transport, Isla Marina feels like a peaceful oasis far from the bustling resorts, being the last boat stop from Cartagena. Had I known this, I would have booked three nights instead of two; everything was perfect.
