The rooms were brand‑new and nicely furnished, and the balcony gave a lovely view of the lake. The staff were super easy to reach and always had helpful tips ready.

Stayed in a quiet spot, just a stone’s throw from the beach – free entry with the Wörthersee card – and close to Velden. Everything was smooth and the price was spot on.

Got special cards for lake bathing, so we definitely used them. Breakfast was tasty and well prepared, but it was the same every day – could have mixed it up with sausages, bacon or fried eggs instead of scrambled. Also, the breakfast started at 8:15, which was a bit late for us who wanted to head out early; a 7:35 start would have been better.

The best part was the location right by the lake. Breakfast was fine overall, but if you arrive later the buffet can be almost empty and not refilled. The so‑called “studio” room was tiny, walls were thin so you could hear the neighbors, and the advertised lake access was missing. No Austrian TV – the previous guest supposedly stole the card and the owner didn’t replace it – and there were no nearby restaurants or bars.

The view from our room of the Wörthersee was stunning. The rooms were spotless, and the host was friendly and accommodating.
