“Highly recommend! Good place, good value”

It was the best two‑star hotel I’ve ever stayed at: clean, comfortable beds and bathroom, very good breakfast. The location was perfect for seeing St. Germain and the Abbey.

The location was calm, but the fish and chips were very basic. Breakfast lacked butter packets, the bread selection was limited to white baguette and croissants, and a shared jar of jam was the only spread. The fresh produce choices were mediocre. No one was at the breakfast desk to answer questions. The price‑quality ratio was okay, but you shouldn’t expect better for that price nowadays. The attic rooms were so cramped that taller guests would hit their heads—luckily we were three and not tall, but it was already tight. There was no duvet in the two single beds and one bed looked used. The flat sheet on the larger bed was dirty in one spot at the top with a dry crust of something—very disgusting.

The location was good, but the value for money was very average. The room was very small and cramped. Breakfast was very simple, and the rooms were poorly sound‑proofed.

“Prima basaal verblijf om te slapen”

I paid a low price, the spot is great for bikes, and across the street is a good restaurant, but the room was tiny and there was no mini‑fridge.
