The meals were absolutely fantastic, cooked fresh every night, and the desserts were excellent. The spot is tucked away in a quiet jungle area with lovely scenery that feels very traditional and relaxing. The family running the place is super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The only downside was that the hot water in the shower was a bit temperamental.

The place is gorgeous, the family is wonderful, and the food is awesome. The only drawback is that it’s quite far from everything else.

The location is great relative to nearby sights, the surroundings are calm and natural, and the homestay staff are friendly and helpful. The steep road to the accommodation was manageable thanks to the owner’s transportation, who was always cheerful and ready to assist when needed.

The room is very beautiful and clean. The lodging has its own small restaurant for lunch and dinner, and the staff take great care of guests. The view is stunning! The hot‑water tank is small, and while that wasn’t a problem for us, note that drivers cannot access the lodging directly. There is a fairly steep slope to descend on foot to reach it.

This is a family guest house that feels like home. Gede and his family care about your comfort and the activities you can do. Gede gives valuable advice and is very helpful in taking you close to the 4‑waterfall trek…and, in the right direction, it saves you a long, tough climb. Be aware that the guest house is 45 minutes from the village of Munduk. If you have a scooter, there’s no problem despite the slope to get to the guest house; if you’re walking, it’s better to eat at the guest house.
