It is perfectly located overlooking the Peace Park, is an easy tram ride from the central train station, and it had an authentic Japanese feel. The Onsen was well appointed, overlooking the dome. A traditional Japanese breakfast was included which added to the experience. Nothing

平和資料館その他、徒歩圏内で様々な非日常が体験出来た。. 内風呂の扉が補修してあったが、上手く閉まりきれず水漏れを気にしながらお風呂に入った。

The spot was perfect—right where I wanted to be. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and helpful. The window in our room rattled from the wind all night, keeping us up most of the time. I told the staff the next morning and they came to try to fix it, but it didn’t work. They quickly offered a room change, which we accepted. Even though the beds were futons, we put two together and they were quite comfortable. The building feels a bit old, but for a traditional ryokan in that location it’s not a big deal.
