“Fantástico”
DJIFFER is fantastic. It sits on the road between Palmarin and Djiffer. The rooms are well‑kept, isolated cabins. The pool is spectacular, thanks to the clean water. But the real value of this place is Mrs. Vinta, who with her team runs the site, treats guests, and handles service overall; she’s a wonderful, calm person. We didn’t like the walk we took to see the fishermen’s arrival in Djiffer. Days before we’d visited other fishermen’s arrival spots, and it’s always the same: the beach banks look like dumps, full of plastic and food scraps that the sea drags and deposits in the sand with the tide. There’s no trash‑pickup service. Because it’s a public issue, no one cleans up.
