A true haven of peace – the place is calm, warm, and completely relaxing, and you feel at ease instantly; I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Nothing was wrong.

The hostel’s design is gorgeous, with a calm color palette and minimalist style that creates a very relaxing vibe. I worked remotely during my stay, and Maison was a great fit—quiet, with several other guests also working, which made staying focused easy. The atmosphere is very positive and friendly, and the facilities are more than sufficient, including a washing machine and cooking amenities.
Everything worked well, the property was great, and Lily was helpful whenever needed.

We started our roadtrip here and were greeted like family, with Lilly the manager and Christophe the owner always ready to help. The kids fell in love with them, and we shared meals, travel tips, and a beautiful boat trip together. The room was perfect for our family and nicely decorated, so we booked the last night of our roadtrip here to finish off. Even though Christophe wasn’t there, Lilly took great care of the kids and helped with laundry. The Omanis are friendly and hospitable, but the people at Maison Miraj go even further. Saying goodbye was really hard! Unfortunately, the air‑conditioning was either too cold or off, which might have been our fault, and the hotel isn’t close to the old center of Muscat, but everything is easy to reach with the Otaxi.
