“In summary, my family and I enjoyed our two night stay at White House Ella”

Being within walking distance of Ella town was super convenient, and we felt safe. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Sri Lankan option we asked for both mornings, with generous portions. The staff were efficient, especially the owner’s wife, who was always smiling and ready to help. The only small problem was that at check‑out no one was there to bring our luggage down from the second floor since there are no elevators. When we arrived on Wednesday afternoon, the AC in our room had a minor glitch, but the owner fixed it quickly and that was appreciated.

We had a lovely stay, and the breakfast was delicious. The air conditioning was good, and the balcony and common areas were cute. The hot water tap in the shower was a bit sensitive, but otherwise it was comfortable.

“Cosy & clean”

Everything was perfect: a clean, modern house with comfortable bedrooms, exceptional breakfast, friendly family, great value, and a good location—100 % recommend. The Wi‑Fi would sometimes drop out, but it was still okay.

The accommodation’s location is excellent; even though it’s not on the main street, it’s only a few minutes’ walk and you can easily stroll to the Nine Arches Bridge or Little Adam’s Peak. The breakfast is exceptional, offering fruit, yogurt, chocolate crepe, coffee or tea, toast, and eggs that can be fried, scrambled, or in a tortilla with sausage. The staff were super attentive and helped us with everything we needed. The room was quite large, with air conditioning, a fan, and a balcony. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect.
