The facilities showed signs of age yet remained fully functional; the bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was a bit spartan, but ordering extra items was easy with the helpful staff, who were very friendly and welcoming. As a budget hotel that is getting old, it could use some polishing in the common areas and better pest control.

I liked the location – a 3 to 5 minute walk to Calle Crisologo – and the free swimming pool was handy. The staff were friendly and polite. The room lacked a cabinet for my small round table, and there was no chair inside. Cleanliness was an issue because I found a lot of bugs behind the door of CR and MJO on the first day. Breakfast options were limited to longganisa, corned beef, hotdog, and tocino, and the service was slow.
