It’s close to the overground station, so it’s ideal for heading into London, and there’s free parking. The check‑in time was later than usual, and the owner could only be reached by text, which sometimes took a while to reply. Overall the place looked scruffy and the exterior seemed neglected.

Nothing good, it was filthy. I couldn’t get in because the key only turned in the lock; after 30 minutes a rude, half‑naked man came to let me in and told me to go to a different room than the email said. The floor was sticky and dirty, and I was woken at 0420 by the same man. He entered my locked room, I shouted “get out,” and he left. I dressed and left because I didn’t feel safe.
