Nothing really, just a place to sleep. It was very run down and way too expensive for how run down and buggy it was.

“My daughter who’s going to use the upper bunk bed one of the crossing wood was broken so I was afraid to fell down at mi”

The spot is pretty isolated, not much light coming in. The room felt cramped and the upper bunk was broken.

Quiet, clean, and pleasant—definitely coming back. A vending machine for drinks and snacks would be handy since everything shuts down at night.

“Cute, Quaint, Historic roadside motel. Updated rooms have a modern industrial country feel.”

The remodel is going well for a property of this age, with quality pots, pans, and kitchen gear; the A/C and heating worked great. Even as a “row” style place, there was a decent level of privacy, and the extra door locks were a nice touch. Knowing laundry facilities are available is a huge plus for roadtrippers; that could be highlighted in ads. It might help to put extra towels, TP, etc., in the laundry room for self‑service, with a polite note to only take what’s needed for the stay. On the downside, more towels in both the kitchen and bath would be welcome. A small table, chair, or stool set under the TV in unit 7A would be useful—something simple, even a patio‑style set, would give guests a spot to sit for coffee, meals, or shoes. The convenience of a place to sit and eat or work on a laptop outweighs any crowding or a TV overhead.

The location is great. I’ve stayed here many times over the years and it’s usually a solid choice, but this time the room was filthy. When I mentioned it, the staff moved us to a different room that was better, yet still not clean—dust, spider webs everywhere, and dark hairs on the bath towels. They even called me “picky”! That’s why I won’t go back. Too bad.
