Lindenhof Hotel Garni

A gorgeous house with modern rooms and a very friendly staff, plus tasty breakfast – we really enjoyed our stay. The bike and e‑bike storage is insufficient and left open on the street; that could use some improvement.

The rooms were well equipped, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped and the breakfast could have been more varied. The communication style left us feeling misunderstood most of the time.

“Wir hatten mehr erwartet, sehr schade!”

The outdoor area and plants looked nice, but the rooms were far too dark, unlike the photos, had a musty smell, and were only moderately clean. The owner offered no help and the breakfast buffet was very simple.

“Fehmarn war eine Erfahrung wert”

We were satisfied with the breakfast, it was replenished quickly after we requested more, and our room was spacious. The hotel is a bit off the village street, which makes it quiet. However, the reception before our arrival was odd and could have been friendlier, and the outdoor area looked untidy, likely due to a lack of staff.

“Fehmarn war toll, das Hotel würden wir nicht wieder buchen.”

The breakfast was good and the location was convenient. The staff were sometimes unfriendly and annoyed, and the room felt hot.
