Gorgeous old ryokan featuring remarkable craftsmanship, a classic garden and the staff and the okamisan are warm hearted. The in room bath was small and the house policy was to bar occupants of that room from the larger common baths Only after discussions they allowed restricted entry. Renting the best room at highest price thus incurs a penalty The wifi mostly didn’t work and the food was average so not a 5 star experience

I enjoyed my stay in this quaint village, where I appreciated the pleasant location, tasty food, and serene internal garden. While having a car made it easier to explore the surrounding areas, I was grateful for the staff's kindness and accommodating nature, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
