The hotel is close to the station, yet they told us before arrival that parking cost 400 NTD for a full day; when we checked in we were told the lot was no longer under contract with the hotel, forcing us to find cheaper parking elsewhere or face an unlimited hourly rate of 60 NTD, which was shocking.

The spot is well‑situated, but the pictures online are misleading—the soundproofing and flooring are poor. We stayed six nights starting 26 August and had several incidents: on the third morning around 9 am a foreign man in a towel rang the doorbell repeatedly, barged in and spoke nonsense before we asked him to leave; the building was full of weekend laborers, loud music from an unknown floor kept us up despite complaints at the front desk; on the night of 31 August we returned to find the room clearly entered, reeking of strong perfume mixed with body odor, and the staff could only offer a reluctant ozone treatment after a few minutes, delivered by a very rude, overweight female employee. After waiting nearly an hour in the lobby we finally got back to the room, only to discover my girlfriend’s underwear missing. No money was stolen, but the whole experience was terrible. The cheap rate we saw online turned out to be a false bargain; compared with a recent stay at another budget hotel, we paid a few dozen dollars less but got only a towel, had to buy an extra towel for 30 NTD, and suffered far worse noise, service and overall quality. We’d rather stay farther away for a better experience.
