Nice place. A portable AC unit is not very effective and quite noisy, and the in‑room bathroom is separated by a curtain with no door.

“Quiet apartments but....”

We booked both the deluxe and ground‑floor apartments. Neither had air‑conditioning! The ground‑floor unit had a noisy, old standing AC that only cooled the deluxe bedroom, not the living area, which contradicted the description. The standing unit in the bedroom was barely used because of the noise, and even when it was on it couldn’t cool the downstairs lounge. After we complained about the heat, the owner brought a cooling unit to the ground floor, but it didn’t cool the bedroom or lounge enough. Luckily we spent most of the day hiking in the beautiful mountains and wine region of Piemonte. There were no hair dryers for women, so bring your own, and no mosquito‑repellent devices, so bring those too.

The apartment was excellent, fully equipped and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and there were two bathrooms with easy stairs to the room. Coffee and tea were available for breakfast. The owner was great to communicate with and the check‑in was hassle‑free.

The location is great. The entrance to the courtyard is elegant, with a gate that makes you feel safe. The kitchen has an espresso machine and plenty of tasty coffee. Two bathrooms is a big convenience—one has just a toilet, sink and washing machine, the other upstairs in the bedroom has a shower. The fridge is adequate and cools well. There are radiators. A bidet is available in the downstairs bathroom—great! I really appreciate the quick response to a malfunction—after we accidentally locked the keys in the apartment, the lady arrived with a second set in just a few minutes and saved us. She was very friendly. The bed was very soft and therefore uncomfortable. The kitchen only has a very basic set of utensils: two pots and a small pan. What was missing most was a stir spoon for the pan and a cutting board. There were too many cups and mugs. Back to the upstairs bedroom bathroom: the light is shared between the bathroom and bedroom, which is okay, but the separation is only a curtain, which feels a bit off. Noise, smells, you know… The worst of all was the bed—it didn’t allow a good night’s sleep at all.

Central, and the accommodation feels like your own home. The host is exceptional, paying attention to every detail.
