Almost the only hotel halfway between Muscat and Salalah, it’s fine for one night; the room is comfortable and quiet. The bathroom needs a full makeover—rusty taps and a shower without a cabin or curtain!

The location is good and it’s probably the best hotel in Haima; room 103 is spacious. The shower room in 103 smells like sewage, there’s no toilet paper—only tissue from a household box—and the shower only works adequately.

The property did its job as a stopover: basic but clean and comfortable, a good halfway point at a fair price. The bed was very comfy after a long drive and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing special, but clean and comfortable for an overnight stay.

The bed was unclean—no fresh sheets, a lot of hair and dust—and the bathroom was equally dusty and dirty.

Towels and bed linen were clean, making it a convenient pit stop between Dubai and Salalah. The mattress in 216 felt like carved solid rock, ruining the night’s sleep, and there was no toilet roll.
