Breakfast offered a nice variety, the hotel rooms were quite large and pleasant, and the pizza at the restaurant was good. Unfortunately, there were many wasps both inside and outside the dining area, and check‑in took a long time when the front desk was empty.

The sauna was great; everything else was fine.

The location is good, close to Swarovski Kristallwelten, and the bowling bar is nice with delicious pizzas. The only downside is that breakfast ends at 10 am; it would be better if it ran until 11.

Our stay at Hotel Rettenberg in Kolsass was flawless. The staff were uniformly friendly and welcomed us warmly. Cleanliness was a top priority for us and the hotel delivered. The spa area even surpassed our expectations – a real treat! Finally, the food was simply delicious and rounded off the visit perfectly. We’ll be back for sure.

The accommodation overall was good, though the equipment was a bit dated but adequate. The major drawback was the shared balcony with other rooms; our neighbors were passionate smokers, and when we opened the door for fresh air, we were met with a full‑night cigarette stench. The staff, however, were very pleasant, smiling, and spoke English. Breakfast was also fine.
