“5 nights in Rabbi Chambers”
The mattress deserves 10 stars, and they offer tea and coffee. A fan was crucial; the house gets very hot because no windows or doors are opened for ventilation. The owner seems friendly, but the overall upkeep feels lacking. The bathroom is disappointing—he claims it’s clean, yet I had to wipe half the sink myself to prove him wrong (photo attached). For five days the bathroom stayed dirty, and I had to ask repeatedly for more toilet paper, something he never noticed. The cockroach issue is real and frightening; we killed one or two each night over five nights. One other guest smoked in the room and bathroom, so ashes littered the floor and the stale tobacco smell lingered due to poor airflow. I knew this property was—or wasn’t—accepting more bookings because I was searching for stays in MBour and Saly on booking for different dates. I found another listing titled “new on booking” in a completely different location, with the exact same photos as the place I stayed in for five nights. Seeing the room in a different spot on the booking map was unsettling.
