“Nicht empfehlenswert”

Nothing good. It was too expensive for what you get. No elevator. The parking costs 15€ per night, but it's just an open supermarket parking lot. It needs major renovations. The rooms are loud; you can hear every word from the neighboring rooms. Breakfast is never worth the money. I've never had such bad coffee. The selection is barely basic. Personal check‑in is only possible until 18:00. The photos and reviews shown on the platform do not match the actual condition on site.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was nice and clean. A kettle on the room would have been nice; in the bathroom I personally felt there was no storage space.

The room had no air‑conditioning or proper heating. It was terribly cold even though it was mid‑October outside, so you had to sleep in a jacket. No slippers were provided.

“Hotel bem localizado e com atendimento rápido”

I really liked the hotel’s location, which is easy to reach by tram. The receptionist’s service, both via the booking chat and at the front desk, was very pleasant with quick and precise explanations. The bed was comfortable. Although I requested a double bed, I was given two single beds pushed together, but I was told it depended on availability. I never used the hotel parking, but the one on Schifferstraße next door is free. The hotel could have informed us that if we wanted to drive, in Cologne you need the “Umweltplakette” (green sticker) to circulate the city or risk a fine. The sticker is only available on weekdays at car‑repair shops in the city, so it made using our car in Cologne impossible. However, public transport is ideal and cheap (just over €9 per person for 24 hours of unlimited use), and because of the few parking spots, this problem turned out to be tolerable.
