I liked that Federico gave us vouchers to go to Gran Café Torino very close by so we had a big variety of very tasty pastries and coffee. I appreciate that I forgot my Kindle and he quickly told me so I could go back and get it back. Thank you for that!

The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast at the bar was good, and the location was great for getting around, but it was a bit noisy because of the exposure on Via Garibaldi.

The rooms were clean and functional, the bathroom was also clean and practical, but it isn’t en‑suite. The location is good and many interesting spots are within walking distance; the train station is just 5 minutes away. However, contrary to what was advertised, it is NOT a Bed & Breakfast. To somehow justify the title, you receive vouchers for an espresso and a Cornetto per person per day at a bar about 300 m away. When we pointed out that we were at the “Wand”, which apparently isn’t a B&B, the staff reacted with confusion, saying it was an Italian Breakfast. The offer and the service are far apart. Eventually we were given a discount of €4 per person. We were promised that the website would be updated on Booking. Note: most rooms face the street, and street noise is expected on the first floor.
