The place is absolutely beautiful, well laid out and full of character and charm. We couldn’t stay longer, but we’ll return! The only minor issue was that the bathroom felt a bit cold for us Queenslanders and we would have liked a bathroom heater.

The huts were super cute! The weather wasn’t great, but the huts gave a lovely cozy indoor experience. I also saw some whales at the nearby beach, which was a highlight. Now that I know the layout of the huts, I’ll try to book one a bit farther from the central park area. I expect it would be a bit noisy in the summer months since it’s a spot the kids enjoy (great for the kids, not so much if you’re after peace and quiet 😊).

It was an absolute delight with everything we could possibly need; the place was beautifully clean, thoughtfully stocked with a bottle of bubbles and some chocolate, and there was nothing negative to mention.

The gardens were lovely and there was a tennis court. The outdoor deck and BBQ area were very nice. The lounge suite needed a little updating and the TV was too high. For longer stays, more drawers for clothing would be useful. The bathroom was amazing, but a heat light would be great for the cooler months.

The place was pretty, very clean, and well equipped; we had a brief hot‑water glitch in the morning that was fixed right away, and the hosts were wonderful and provided excellent service—everything was loved!
