“Lovely location and property! Beware of mold / sewage smell!”

Walking from Surfside, I could reach plenty of eateries and shops, and the beach itself was breathtaking; chairs and umbrellas were provided, though side tables were scarce. The 2‑bedroom suite was solid, featuring three full bathrooms and a spacious balcony that made our stay very comfortable. However, the suite’s layout was a bit deceptive because the king bed lacked a door, and the room repeatedly smelled like raw sewage; opening the doors to ventilate would shut the A/C. Housekeeping sprayed eucalyptus once or twice, but the odor returned, and the vents seemed to blow moldy air, aggravating my allergies and limiting my time in the room.

“Very bad”

The worst hotel service I’ve ever seen. The facilities malfunctioned, a terrible sewage odor lingered, and the front desk staff’s attitude was utterly awful and disgraceful.

I hated it, my first stay at this well‑known place. The staff were terribly cold and unfriendly! We were given a room that had a puddle of water on which my wife slipped and got hurt. No compassion, no sympathy. The rooms had aged, and besides its seaside location, the establishment’s prestige had faded.
