Its convenient! Only 2min away from the highway bus stop to Tateyama. The stay was okay:3

The staff were very friendly and the shared lounge and kitchen were free to use, but there were only two individual shower booths.

The kitchen was very convenient and well stocked, the room was clean and the facilities were good, and the hostel is close to the station; the highlight was the hostess Apple, who was kind and helpful, kept giving us local fruit, whiskey, and anything else she could find, let us store our luggage while we went on a multi‑day hike, and even drove us to the trailhead—thank you again, Apple, your kindness is greatly appreciated and anyone staying here is lucky to meet you!

The interior space isn’t large, but it’s good for sleeping and overall clean; I would have liked a chair and a small table inside the room.
