Kimmie was wonderful—super friendly and welcoming. Gwens bacon buttie deserves a shoutout too 😁. The room had a lot of bright light, and I wish there had been a proper desk for work, but that was just because I had to get some tasks done.

The location suited us perfectly; the staff were kind and our room was quiet and nice. The bed was comfy, and breakfast was excellent—nothing to complain about.

The staff and owner were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the locals I met at the pub and village were just as warm. Breakfasts were decent. The room and shower were small but offered great value for the price. The room felt cold because the heating thermostat was set too low, so I was offered an electric radiator, which I declined. On Sunday afternoon, the car park was full when I returned from my day out, and parking in the village is limited; I finally found a spot after 6 pm. That was the only issue during my four‑night stay.

The location, staff, service, and evening meals were all great. We were hoping for full English breakfasts like the photos showed, which was disappointing since that’s what we enjoy. Still, the breakfasts that were available were good.
