The hotel sits right on the main road, so catching a taxi into town was a breeze, and the pool was a real highlight. The room felt comfy and the staff were friendly and quick to help. Only thing that fell short was the housekeeping – it could have been a bit more thorough.

“Pour une nuit à la rigueur, renseignez-vous pour l'eau et l'électricité”

The place is only a ten‑minute drive from the shopping centres and we booked a Chobe River safari with guides who were knowledgeable and pleasant. Be prepared for a long haul, though – we spent about two and a half hours on the road plus a rough track before getting there.

A noisy cricket kept us up for three nights, which was frustrating, and the room rate didn’t include dinner or breakfast – that part was clear enough. Still, the website showed all those meals as part of the package with attractive photos, which felt misleading compared to other hotels that actually honor those promises.

“1.Water takes long to heat up 2.The floor towel was not changed in the three days I stayed. 3.Bar So”

The spot is convenient, but the water took forever to warm up and the floor towel never got changed during my three‑day stay. Bar soap disappeared each night, the bedding and pillowcases were stained, and the towel rail actually fell off the wall. I’ve got photos if anyone wants proof.

“Needs more attention to the surrounding”

The rooms are roomy and decorated with vintage furniture, which gave a nice charm. Unfortunately, there were spiders and cobwebs in the corners and even a roach I had to squash in the bathroom, which ruined the vibe.
