Good value for money. The room was spotless. Friendly staff and a hearty breakfast. Beautiful courtyard and good location. The room was very hot due to the roof slope at the current temperatures. Because the hotel is also heavily used by workers, it was somewhat noisy in the early evening with TVs, phones, etc., but after 22:00 it was very quiet.

The rooms were tidy and well‑equipped for the price, and the staff were very friendly; the location right in the town centre was excellent. Breakfast was adequate. The building feels a bit old, and unfortunately the café is closed.

We booked without breakfast because we’re always at friends’ grill weekends over Pentecost, so we hardly used the hotel beyond sleeping. The key hand‑over was quick and easy, the Wi‑Fi was good, and the large parking lot was a plus. The tiny fridge in the room was handy and made no noise. I think only two parties stayed in the hotel during our visit, so I can’t say how it feels when it’s full. The shower pressure was great, and we liked the shower cabin with a small storage bench. The slanted ceiling might bother some guests, but it didn’t bother us, and I didn’t pay special attention to it when booking. I found the pillow supply initially lacking; after asking, I received two extra pillows right away, which settled everything. We would have appreciated a bit more information in the room about the hotel and surroundings, though we didn’t have time this time; I usually look up nearby excursions, restaurants, or sights.

It was a decent, straightforward hotel, though the café was closed; breakfast was simple but good and the staff took good care of guests, and my single room was fairly spacious, so I’ll check again for availability if I return to the area, but the mattress needs replacing and a power outlet closer to the bed would be welcome.
