“First class accommodation, hosts and fantastic views.”

Excellent hosts. Henry and Melanie made us feel very welcome. We didn’t need anything, and it wasn’t a lot of trouble. The room, conservatory, etc. were very clean and comfortable, and the views were outstanding. Excellent breakfast set us up for the day, and a swim in the pool was just what was needed after a hot day exploring the local area. Thank you.

The property and hosts were very nice, breakfast was one of the best I've had, the views were lovely and the garden very pretty, and the swimming pool was great once you get into it; perfect for complete peace and quiet. The place sits up a long winding single country lane with large hedges on either side, and you need Google because the sat nav is wrong; it's too far from Colyton to walk, so you must book a taxi in advance as they get fully booked.

“An unforgettable property, a hidden gem that we won’t forget. The hosts were lovely.”

The room was clean and very well equipped, including a fan and a fridge just outside the room, and even though it was inside the host's house you still had complete privacy. The pool was so refreshing on hot days, with sun loungers and pool towels provided, and the views took my breath away; the breakfast was probably the best cooked breakfast we've had. The only note is that you have to drive about 2 miles or a single track road to get there; it didn't bother us but I wanted future guests to know.

“An ideal place to stay!”

A beautiful place to stay with excellent hosts; the fine details like fresh milk for hot drinks, a selection of drinks, and biscuits were outstanding, and the place was spotless. The view is a must-see.
