I recently stayed at voco Yangshuo and had a fantastic experience. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and enthusiastic—they made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also has beautiful scenery, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway. A special highlight was the lovely animals on the property: alpacas, a white horse, and sika deer. They made our stay even more memorable and unique. I highly recommend voco Yangshuo and would definitely stay here again. Shorter version: Wonderful stay at voco Yangshuo! The breakfast was delicious, the staff were warm and enthusiastic, and the scenery was beautiful. The alpacas, white horse, and sika deer made it extra special. Highly recommended!

“Amazing”

I had a flawless stay at the hotel. Every facility and service met my expectations, and the view was far better than I could have imagined. I would definitely bring my family back if the opportunity arises.

We were satisfied; the scenery was beautiful and there were plenty of facilities for the whole family to enjoy, enough to keep us occupied all day inside the hotel, and we’ll definitely book this hotel again on our next visit to Yangshuo; however, the server delivering dinner walked straight into the room with shoes on, stepping on the floor and carpet without removing them.

“Generally pleasant stay with room for improvement in operation and management.”

The location is great and most staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms with private pools and saunas were fantastic. I was impressed by the dishes at the hotel restaurant, which used fresh local ingredients for delicious signature Guilin cuisine. However, the layout of some facilities is a bit messy and user‑unfriendly. The gym is in the same room as the kids’ area, and other functions intrude, such as a photo‑shooting service and a costume‑hanging area. The rooms are nicely air‑conditioned, but some corridors are not, making it stuffy in the local high humidity and heat. The carpet in the lifts doesn’t help with the smell from the humid heat. There is no proper visitor drop‑off, and the main entrance lay‑by is tight and shared for servicing. This caused an unpleasant incident when an elderly guest with mobility difficulties was rushed by the manager to get in and out immediately as our car pulled in at the lay‑by.
