The location is great, but there was no sign for the car entrance. It’s not listed under the address in the ad. Parking is paid, so you have to pay €1 each time you leave the car. It’s not a big deal, but I would have liked that info beforehand.

It’s a great little spot if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of larger towns, and having its own pizzeria during Ferrogusto was a bonus.

I appreciate the location and the fact that there’s a restaurant on the property. Parking is available upon request, and apparently there’s a new pool guests can use. Where to start? We paid double compared to the prices directly on their website (my fault!). I was fine with paying what I paid during Italian Ferragosto, only if the experience had been different. The pictures of the room showed a modern and refurbished space, while our room was very minimal and outdated. The bed sheet was literally just one sheet, folded at the foot of the bed, and the pillows were fluffy. The soap bottles were half empty; in the shower I’m quite sure we had hand soap used as body soap, and many details were poorly managed. There was no air conditioning, and we were lucky that it rained at night and cooled down, because otherwise it would have been impossible to sleep with the window open due to the noise from the restaurant. A bidet seemed to be present in every room, but that is not true. At check‑in, nobody gave us any information about the facilities, like the pool. I don’t want to go further with this review. We love San Paolo, we come almost every year, but this guest house really didn’t meet our expectations, especially for what we paid.

The pool was great, and the kitchen plus two toilets were handy; free parking was a bonus and the place sits close to a supermarket and a church. However, the street was noisy all the time, and without air‑conditioning at 35 degrees it was tough to sleep, especially with the noise; also there was no shampoo and only a single bottle of soap in one of the bathrooms.
